tis the new year, and its gonna be a good one. i have an inkling it will be :D
i went to a fabulous party, spent the turn of the new year with my friends and my boyfriend, i danced, tried tequila and played poker. muchas fun! love is everywhere!

i spent most of today catching up on sleep. but i did have a nice lunch with family and then watched the junior eurovision song contest of 2006. the contest was held in Romania. to my Romanian dA friends and to all Romanian's reading this, i have fallen in love with your accent. and one day i will visit your country :D
congratulations russia for winning, they had 2 girls who could sing better than most contestants in the normal eurovision. im so pumped for this years eurovision! its malta's year this year :nod:

ive seen Marie Antionette at the movies the other day, and its what i call a moving painting! the costumes were amazing. it was a great movie. i saw The Holiday before that. pleasantly surprised i was, i liked it alot. and i saw The Libertine with the great Johnny Depp. go rent it! brilliantly acted, great story of the infamous John Wilmot, Earl of Rochester. look him up, interesting fellow, he's in the same league as the Marquis De Sade. and if you dont know who that it, then look him up also. if theres one thing i know, in history- there are the most fascinating people

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
and so newyears was pretty good aye? i danced, drank, ate a nice bbq, and got to spend the night with my friends and boyfriend. was heaps good. and the next day my boyfriend took me to the monavale lookout and we got calamari for lunch at new port beach. paying for parking is a bitch, but it was rather worth it! the beaches out there are amazing. the sky is pollution free and the sun is so hot it burns :P but theyre worthwhile burns :P haha and i took sunscreen but forgot about it.. lol a great start to a new year :D
the johnny depp movie sounds like a must see, ive seen nearly all the movies he's been in :P hes such a good actor, always shows his individual talent in every character he plays
i hope to catch up though, enjoy the new year :D

I got my navel pierced!! I'm so excited I'm telling everyone. On Friday one of my best friends and I went to Wicked Ink (awesome tattoo and piercing place) and I got it done. It's looks pretty cool (if I do say so myself, lol). And I found a beautiful tattoo design that I'm going to get done when I have the money for it, yayness. Apart from that nothing much has been happening. How's the new year for you?

maybe you could do some funky art or photography with your pierced naval, thats pretty awesome! i hope it didnt hurt. my new year has been pretty mellow but good, went to a UNSW info day and been hanging out with friends. got a few parties coming up though, and theres a few events at the sydney festival i want to go to, which will be good

Suprisingly it didn't hurt very much, but it's very tender now when I move. What are you palnning on doing at uni? I presume at UNSW? The sydney festival has some really interesting things going on.
